WORTHY U
Supporting teens and young adults in building self-awareness, connection, confidence, and a deeper sense of their own wisdom and worth.
A SPACE TO:
BE YOURSELF
There is no perfect way to participate. You are welcome to speak, listen, reflect, question, and show up as you are.
FEEL LESS ALONE
We discover more about ourselves through one another. OR We discover more about ourselves through seeing ourselves reflected in someone else's experience
DISCOVER WHAT'S ALREADY WITHIN YOU
Supportive spaces make room for questions, insights, different perspectives, individuality, creativity, and choice.
REMEMBER
Our worth already exists within us.
“I liked sharing ideas without any pressure. I liked how we are free in our thoughts and there are no right or wrong answers. It is the ability to be ourselves.”
— Age 15
THE EXPERIENCE
Each Worthy U session is an exploration of a theme through self-inquiry questions, guided meditation, nature inspired practices, shared insights and meaningful conversation.
Themes we might explore
LOVE the ways you can meet yourself with care.
BEAUTY noticing where you find beauty in yourself and the world around you.
SUPPORT the ways you receive, offer, and create support for yourself and others.
LISTENING listening deeply to yourself, your emotions, your body, and others.
BOUNDARIES honouring what is true for you—what you think, feel, want, need, and value.
REST what it means to give yourself permission to pause, receive, and restore.
PRESENCE noticing what becomes available when you slow down and arrive in the moment.
GRATITUDE appreciating what is here, within you and around you.

“It was such a joy to have Dani lead my high school students in a Worthy U series this past year. As a guest teacher in my secondary school yoga PE classes, Dani and the Worthy U program fit nicely into the curriculum and contributed to growing a safe and accepting space for all students. Dani led sessions that dove into issues surrounding acceptance, self love, fear, body image and so much more! Students were welcomed to share their feelings or simply listen - the choice was theirs. After eight sessions the personal growth was evident in my students and based on their own personal reflections it was clear they LOVED working with Dani! I cannot wait to have Dani back this year!” — Krista, High School Teacher
Why I created Worthy U
From assisting in dance classes at age 10, to being a camp counselor, and later a classroom teacher, I’ve always loved working with and connecting with children and youth. My own journey with self-worth continues to teach me a lot and I’ve learned how powerful it is to have spaces where you can just be yourself, connect, and feel supported. My own experience inspired a simple question: What would it be like for young people to have a space where they didn't need to prove anything — where they could connect, reflect, and remember that they are already enough, just as they are?
Worthy U was created from that question.
